Established initially as a small medical imaging hardcopy film and consumables distributor, specialising in analogue based imaging technology, the company very quickly identified the need for a reliably supply source of high quality imaging accessories. As a result the business targeted a small niche of premium suppliers of imaging accessories and over a short space of time acquired distribution access these to develop an initial foundation for todays expansive and comprehensive accessories portfolio. These industry leading brands developed a comprehensive single source supply product portfolio to suit a range of healthcare facility’s needs.
Along the way Imaging Solutions acquired a small number of bolt-on acquisitions which included Vectron Medic which had been established in the Queensland market during the late 1960s.
Once this initial growth phase when building the accessories range offering, Imaging Solutions identified the world market-leading brand, catering to a variety of imaging specialisations.
In 2006, the company launched its first PACS-related integration products to compliment its existing core consumables distribution business. In 2010, the company created a product architecture that included two solution platforms: Healthcare Accessories and Consumables (HAC) and Healthcare and Technology Solutions (HTS). In 2013, a third solution platform, Healthcare Design and Construction (HDC), was established in response to market demand for turn-key project delivery.
Today, Imaging Solutions operates internationally and is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia.
